CDS SOLAR Industrial and Commercial Photovoltaic System Helps Danfoss Tianjin Wuqing Park Photovoltaic Power Station to Be Put into Operation

Recently, the Danfoss photovoltaic power station in Tianjin Wuqing Park was officially put into operation. The project has an installed capacity of 704kWp and is expected to stably output up to 800MWh of clean energy every year while significantly reducing carbon emissions by 491 tons, making an important contribution to environmental protection. The project was constructed by BECIS, a Singaporean industrial and commercial renewable energy developer, and CDS provided the photovoltaic carport and energy storage system for the project.

In recent years, under the guidance of the group’s “three-step approach” to decarbonization (reduction, reuse and green electrification), Danfoss China’s parks have made full use of the company’s leading magnetic levitation centralized refrigeration, intelligent heating, heat pumps, heat recovery and comprehensive Energy utilization and other technologies have significantly improved the energy efficiency of the park. Taking Danfoss Wuqing Park as an example, compared with 2016, the park’s output value increased by 51%, while energy consumption decreased by 3%, energy productivity increased by 56%, and total energy savings reached 27.3 GWh, effectively improving its own competitiveness and profitability. During the same period, Danfoss China’s output value increased by 151%, its energy efficiency increased by 52%, and it achieved an average annual emission reduction of 48,000 tons.

In this park construction, CDS SOLAR provided the following products:

(1) Energy storage system: It saves power generation costs by storing residual energy, and it can also balance and adjust the load of the park, reduce the peak pressure and peak-valley price difference of the power system, thereby reducing the cost of electricity.

(2) Photovoltaic carports and charging pile products: Provide charging places and parking spaces for trams in the park, which facilitates travel and saves land use area.

(3) Solar tracker: Use CDS SOLAR’s self-developed solar tracker, which has more than 30 patents, to improve the overall power generation efficiency of the park and increase the park’s profitability.
