CDS SOLAR successfully construct a 23MW solar tracker power station in Zimbabwe

CDS SOLAR, a leading provider of solar power plant solutions, is pleased to announce that we have successfully constructed a 23MW solar tracker power plant in Zimbabwe.

This cutting-edge solar power plant is located in Nyabira District, Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe, 33 kilometers from its capital, Harare. Due to its central location in Zimbabwe and the power station’s acres of land, it can harness abundant sunlight to produce clean and sustainable energy for the region. This solar power plant is equipped with the most advanced solar tracking technology, which dynamically adjusts the direction of the solar panels to follow the path of the sun throughout the day, ensuring the optimal utilization of solar resources and maximizing energy production efficiency.

The cooperation between CDS SOLAR and China Electric Power Construction Corporation reflects a common commitment to promoting renewable energy infrastructure globally. With CDS SOLAR’s professional knowledge in solar energy solutions and China Electric Power Construction’s rich experience in engineering and construction, the project was completed on schedule and successfully began commercial operation.

Mr. Daniel, CEO of CDS SOLAR, expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of the project, stating, “We are pleased to collaborate with China Electric Power Construction to bring sustainable energy solutions to Zimbabwe. This project not only showcases our technological strength, but also highlights our commitment to addressing the energy challenges faced by global communities.”

The project manager of China Electric Power Construction also expressed a similar view, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in promoting the transition to clean energy. “The commissioning of this solar tracker power plant demonstrates the fruitful partnership between CDS SOLAR and China Electric Power Construction. We are working together to contribute to global efforts to address climate change and promote sustainable development.”

This 23 megawatt solar tracker power plant is expected to have a significant impact on Zimbabwe’s energy landscape, providing clean electricity to thousands of households and businesses while reducing dependence on fossil fuels. In addition, the project aligns with Zimbabwe’s renewable energy goals and helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the country.

As the world continues to prioritize renewable energy initiatives, cooperation between CDS SOLAR and China Electric Power Construction Corporation has become a shining example of international cooperation towards a more sustainable future.
